My name is Brian Wille and I am the founder of Intentionally Grounded Coaching.  I am currently a high school social studies teacher, as well as the Offensive Coordinator for Fairmont High School.  I also serve as an assistant basketball coach during the winter season.  I am supported by, and happily married to, my wife of 4 years without whom, I couldn’t do what I love most: coach.

The purpose of this website is not to bring about wealth or notoriety for myself or the football program I am associated with.  My goal is to be a connector.  As a teacher and coach, I have spent my life connecting people and ideas.  This endeavor should be no different.  I want to serve as a connector to a growing community of coaches who strive for excellence in all that they do.  Hopefully this website provides the forum for those connections to occur and grow.  Through interviews with coaches, and a growing list of athletic coaching techniques and schemes, I hope this site can help you become the best version of yourself that you can be, whether it be as a coach or individual.

What’s in it for me?  Listening to and learning the best strategies, fundamentals, experiences, and individual plays from emerging and established coaches is all the reward I need.  My reward comes from the service I can provide coaches of all ages and levels.  I got into this to promote the profession (coaching) and sport (football) that I love.  My hope is that you all gain as much from this experience as I intend to!

*A special thank you to Coach Ron McKie and Coach Patrick Taylor for serving as great inspirations and mentors to me throughout this process.  Your impact has been immense.
